At the outset of her communications career, Nina's passion for public relations and media prompted her to start at Coast's Detroit office, where she supports senior staff on key components related to press/awareness-driving, counsel, planning, ideation, and research.
Before joining the Company, Nina had prior experience as a content manager at the non-profit Ultra Care Company, where she collaborated with stakeholders to develop a marketing campaign for recruitment. She also worked as a staff writer at the Spartan Newsroom for Michigan State University.

Andrew led the charge for Coast's healthcare arm and has experience managing the largest academically integrated healthcare system in southeast Michigan, a breakthrough brain cancer initiative launching a new clinical trial, and a nonprofit in L.A. doing work in the palliative care space. Before his work for Coast, Andrew worked for two healthcare consulting companies in their strategy practices (MDS Consulting, acquired by Vizient, and Skokie-based Kaufman Hall).
He has a great depth of knowledge in the provider space, having completed his residency at three SoCal-based health systems (Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance, The Keck Hospital of USC, and HCA-owned Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center). Based in Orange County, Calif., Melissa is a seasoned public relations professional with nearly 20 years of experience in media relations, content development, strategic planning, and event management. She brings a diverse PR background to the table having managed PR efforts for a wide range of healthcare, tech, financial, non-profit, and consumer accounts including Hotwire, Novartis Vaccines, Moonshark, California Pizza Kitchen, Carl’s Jr., Wescom Credit Union, and World Hope International.
Some of her key accomplishments include securing broadcast segments with local network affiliates from coast to coast, as well as placements in top business and consumer outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Fast Company, CNBC.com, Inc. Magazine, Success Magazine, Associated Press, and the New York Post. Before joining the Coast PR team in 2012, Melissa worked at both large and boutique PR firms in Los Angeles and New York including Ruder Finn, Hill & Knowlton, and Atomic PR.
Crystal is a strategic advisor to Coast PR specializing in media relations. She is the founder of Make Waves Communications, which specializes in media relations, communications strategy, athlete/talent relations, and event media operations. Crystal and Make Waves brings two decades of experience spanning sports, action sports, niche sports, fitness + health, entertainment, business, lifestyle, and all facets of media operations for large-scale events.
Based in Los Angeles and with more than 22 years of public relations experience, Caroline is an effective public relations advisor who enjoys helping clients achieve their business goals and objectives. Working from Las Vegas, Nevada, Amanda brings a wide variety of public relations experience to Coast PR in the digital media, technology, consumer, and social impact arenas, applying her extensive media relations, event planning, and social media experience to both startups and established brands/organizations. Outside of her work for Coast PR, Amanda has worked with other top-tier clients, including YouTube, Best Western, and Progressive Insurance, as well as startup companies such as Ning (acquired by CBS Interactive), Machinima, PandaDoc, and RippleTV.
In addition, Amanda has led community outreach and corporate social responsibility campaigns for clients such as Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and eHarmony. Before her PR agency experience, Amanda worked for the City of Anaheim in Orange County, California, where she assisted in the execution of large-scale events and contests for the City’s 150th-anniversary campaign.
