An experienced public relations professional specializing in media relations (having generated over 890 million earned media impressions, and counting, across broadcast, online, and print channels), executive positioning, branding, and strategic communications planning for over eight years, Andrew has provided advisory services for a wide variety of Coast’s practice groups, client programs, and staff.
Andrew led the charge for Coast's healthcare arm and has experience managing the largest academically integrated healthcare system in southeast Michigan, a breakthrough brain cancer initiative launching a new clinical trial, and a nonprofit in L.A. doing work in the palliative care space. Before his work for Coast, Andrew worked for two healthcare consulting companies in their strategy practices (MDS Consulting, acquired by Vizient, and Skokie-based Kaufman Hall).
He has a great depth of knowledge in the provider space, having completed his residency at three SoCal-based health systems (Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance, The Keck Hospital of USC, and HCA-owned Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center). Working from Las Vegas, Nevada, Amanda brings a wide variety of public relations experience to Coast PR in the digital media, technology, consumer, and social impact arenas, applying her extensive media relations, event planning, and social media experience to both startups and established brands/organizations. Outside of her work for Coast PR, Amanda has worked with other top-tier clients, including YouTube, Best Western, and Progressive Insurance, as well as startup companies such as Ning (acquired by CBS Interactive), Machinima, PandaDoc, and RippleTV.
In addition, Amanda has led community outreach and corporate social responsibility campaigns for clients such as Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and eHarmony. Before her PR agency experience, Amanda worked for the City of Anaheim in Orange County, California, where she assisted in the execution of large-scale events and contests for the City’s 150th-anniversary campaign.
